Prowlarr on Cresdock
Prowlarr manages your indexers in one place and pushes them out to Sonarr, Radarr and the rest of the *arr stack, so you configure an indexer once instead of per-app.
What Cresdock sets up for you
Seeded with its own API key and web address the moment it's installed, authenticated through your panel login — no separate Prowlarr password.
Adding your indexers and connecting Prowlarr to your other *arr apps happens in its own UI, the same as a bare install — that step is intentionally still yours.
Installing it
- Pick it from the catalog
From your dashboard, choose Prowlarr and click Install — no Dockerfile, no compose file.
- Wait a couple of minutes
The panel pulls the image, seeds its configuration, and starts it up.
- Open it from your dashboard
Your access details are on the app's card, and you can start, stop, update or remove it with a click, any time.
Common questions
Do I need to know Docker to run Prowlarr?
No — it's a one-click install through the panel, same as every app in the catalog.
Is my Prowlarr data safe during an update?
Yes. Updates and reinstalls change Prowlarr's own configuration only — never your downloaded files or media library, by design.
Can I remove Prowlarr later without losing my setup?
Removing it can keep its configuration for a future reinstall — you choose when you remove it.
