Overseerr on Cresdock
Overseerr is a request portal for Plex — the people you share your server with browse a catalog and ask for a movie or show, instead of asking you directly.
What Cresdock sets up for you
Gets its own web address and signs in with your Plex account — no separate Overseerr login.
Its setup wizard connects to your Sonarr/Radarr, and the panel hands you their API key and address on the app card so that step is copy-paste instead of hunting through settings.
Installing it
- Pick it from the catalog
From your dashboard, choose Overseerr and click Install — no Dockerfile, no compose file.
- Wait a couple of minutes
The panel pulls the image, seeds its configuration, and starts it up.
- Open it from your dashboard
Your access details are on the app's card, and you can start, stop, update or remove it with a click, any time.
Common questions
Do I need to know Docker to run Overseerr?
No — it's a one-click install through the panel, same as every app in the catalog.
Is my Overseerr data safe during an update?
Yes. Updates and reinstalls change Overseerr's own configuration only — never your downloaded files or media library, by design.
Can I remove Overseerr later without losing my setup?
Removing it can keep its configuration for a future reinstall — you choose when you remove it.
